For more than 50 years Manifattura Testori has been working for the world leading airlines, supplying them with a vast range of products including fabrics for seats, curtains and headrests, fire blocking layers, fabrics for wall panel decoration. Manifattura Testori not only supplies a varied package of products, but is also a partner offering a full service to its customers. In addition to the full support for all kinds of tests and required certifications Testori can supply, on request, custom designed textile solutions, starting from the preliminary design phases to the delivery of the end product. Thus a fabric can be ordered by length or in bulk from stocks of the current collections, brought back into production from past collections (more than 9000 references), or designed and produced from scratch for specific requirements: in all cases it is supplied in rolls or in ready-made items. All these activities are completely managed within Testori production unit that guarantees maximum flexibility, with an optimization of timing and costs that only an integrated organization can offer. Fabrics for seats, curtains and headrests, fire blocking layers, fabrics for wall panel decoration. Machine washable fabrics, fabrics with anti-stain, antiviral and antimicrobial treatments and a range of lightweight products that are strategic in aviation for reducing weight and so reducing fuel consumption and costs.The textile collections are complemented by the proposals in natural and synthetic leather, including a variety of different grains, colours, weights and qualities.

Founded in 1904 near Milan, Manifattura Testori recently celebrated 115 years of activity. In more than a century it has brought to life many ambitious and important projects, bringing Italian taste and craftsmanship around the world from the beginning of the 20th century: the so called “made in Italy”. In the historic site in Novate Milanese, still today the operating headquarter of the Company, in the first decades of the past century, the production concentrated on fabrics for interior furnishings and, subsequently, on those for railways: in the 1930s, Testori created prestige fittings for the Orient Express, the famous train that travelled from Paris to Constantinople and became a symbol of luxury and comfort. In the 1950s Testori began working with the aviation sector, initially with Air France and Alitalia and later with other world leading airlines. A very significant achievement for the Company was the supply in the 1970s of the interior furnishings of the supersonic Concorde, which demanded very new material technologies. Manifattura Testori is the ideal partner to create “made in Italy” design environments for Aviation interiors. Testori offers consultancy from graphic design to the creation of prototypes through to the development of the final product including all necessary certifications and, on request, preparation of finished products. Manifattura Testori is one of the few companies in the world with the certifications required for the aviation sector and can carry out in its internal laboratory the main fire/smoke and physical-mechanical tests.
